Speedy 3 war bis 22.01.2025 im Einsatz und wurde durch Speedy 4 abgelöst.

Anforderungen

  • LAN: mind. 1x Gb LAN; 2 wären besser gewesen, aber es geht auch so (USB-Ethernet-Konverter)
  • Größe: max. Breite: 25 cm, max. Tiefe: 25 cm, max. Höhe: 14 cm
  • RAM: mind. 2 GB
  • CPU: mind. 2 Kerne à 1,5 GHz

Vorteile klein, kein Lüfter, niedriger Stromverbrauch, gute Leistung (4x 1,6 GHz)
Nachteile nur ein 2,5 Zoll-Schacht
RAM 2x 4 GB DDRL-RAM (SO-DIMM)
Massenspeicher 1 120 GB M2 SSD
Massenspeicher 2 500 GB 2,5 HDD (aus Speedy 2 entnommen)
OS Ubuntu Server 16.04 x64 (Linux 4.4)
Installierte Ubuntu-Pakete (Auswahl) isc-dhcp-server, bind9, lxc

Konfigurationsanpassungen

Name der WAN-Ethernet-Schnittstelle: eth1

Folgende Datei erstellen: /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

Inhalt:

Ansonsten hätte die Schnittstelle eine elendig lange zufällig anmutende Zeichenfolge von Buchstaben und Ziffern, die kaum zu merken und verdammt umständlich zu schreiben ist (z.B. in den ganzen Konfigurationsdateien). Da hilft es nichts, wenn der Schnittstellenname "vorhersehbar" ist (PredictableNetworkInterfaceNames).
